Join Alabama Audubon in celebrating Birdability Week this year from October 18 - 25, 2026! This week-long event is dedicated to making birding accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability. This year's Birdability theme is "Bird Where You Are". Ambassador Greg Harber will lead an outing along the Trussville Greenway in Trussville, AL!


Meeting Time and Place: We will be meeting at the Trussville Senior Center and traveling as a group along the paved trails of the Trussville Greenway.

Target Bird Species: American Goldfinches, Yellow-rumped Warblers, Red-shouldered Hawks, Pileated Woodpeckers, Hermit Thrushes, Song and Swamp Sparrows

This event is free but registration is required.

Accessibility: This event is suitable for all accessibility requirements. This event will cover up to 1.0 miles on pavement and gravel with low elevation. There are restrooms and benches on site.
