Every time you drive down the road, you will be supporting our mission to promote conservation and education by increasing awareness of our organization across Alabama.
You can get the license plate anytime, regardless of your renewal month, and you can have it personalized for free. Nobody enjoys spending time at the DMV, so we have made it as easy as possible if you follow the steps we have outlined below.
HOW TO GET IT
If your car is registered in Alabama, all you have to do is visit your local vehicle licensing office in person and ask the clerk for the Alabama Audubon specialty license plate. You can do this during your renewal month or at any time. After that, yearly renewal will happen automatically.
GET IT PERSONALIZED
If you want a personalized tag, reserve it online through the Alabama Department of Revenue Plate Reservation and Ordering System (PROS) before going to the licensing office. Personalization is free, but you have to register ahead of time.
Plus, the tag can be used on private passenger automobiles, pickup trucks (up to 12,000), motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.
