ALABAMA AUDUBON would not be able to accomplish nearly so much without the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteer cadre. Volunteers have been the leading force behind Alabama Audubon since its founding. Would you like to help us achieve our mission to promote conservation and a greater knowledge of birds, their habitats, and the natural world? We would love to add you to the team.

PROJECT SAFE FLIGHT VOLUNTEER You can assist the Science & Conservation Director with ongoing research efforts designed to investigate bird-window collisions across Alabama. We will use these data to work on making windows safe for birds. It is a great way to contribute to the long-term well-being of our avian friends.

COASTAL VOLUNTEER Our dedicated team of coastal volunteers are an integral part of what allows us to do the work that we do on the Alabama Gulf Coast. As we set our sights on creating new educational opportunities, increasing our presence at environmental expos, and continuing to provide comprehensive monitoring of our coastal birds, we are actively seeking new volunteers for 2025.
