Prothonotary Warbler by Joshua Pelta Heller
Join us as we explore the TVA Muscle Shoals Trail Complex in Northwest AL. We will begin by wandering along a paved trail in wooded areas looking for warblers, Wood Thrush, Prothonotary Warblers, Indigo Buntings, Acadian Flycatchers, and Barred Owls, along with many others. We’ll make a quick stop to check out the swallows nesting under the Hwy 157 overpass before breaking for a picnic lunch followed by a walk by the Tennessee River up to the base of Wilson Dam where we will look for Cormorants, pelicans, Osprey, Great Egrets, Blue Herons, and other water fowl.
