Curious about the birds around you? Wanna know what they are? This hands-on workshop for 12-14 year old is a fun way to find out.
Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, explore bird topography and practice using a field guide and binoculars. We'll also introduce digital tools that make birdwatching even more exciting! And, if time permits, we'll go outside to put those skills into practice.
Come ready to look closer, ask questions and discover something new.
No experience needed!
IMPORTANT: Parents and guardians are welcome to remain in the library while your child participates. If you plan to leave, please return promptly at 5:45pm for pickup. The workshop guide and Alabama Audubon Association are not responsible for children left unattended.
