Join us to enjoy the migration and roosting of our favorite urban birds, the Chimney Swift! In many cities in the eastern US, empty chimneys are reliable locations for breeding Chimney Swifts. Each fall, when the swifts finish breeding and begin to migrate to South America, many of these chimneys are shared by incredible numbers of swifts. As dusk falls, we will talk about the swifts while we enjoy the spectacle of a "Swiftnado" as thousands of birds enter the chimney to rest!

Meeting Location: We will meet at the top of the 106 Jefferson Hotel at the Baker and Able Rooftop Bar, which is on the 5th floor of the hotel. Hotel staff will be aware of our visit and can direct you in the right direction if you arrive late.
