Join us this September for a half-day adventure into Perry County to tally as many species as we can during walks through Perry Lakes Park.
We'll meet in the dense woodlands and bottomland forest of the Cahaba River in Perry Lakes Park. This location is ideal for birds such as Swainson's Thrushes, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Black-throated Green Warblers, and Wood Ducks features a 100 foot birding tower that participants can climb for incredible views! Please bring plenty of water and food as this is a Half-Day event. If the time permits, we will stop at Harrison Lake near Maplesville (which is not wheelchair accessible) on our return drive.
