Hidden in Plain Sight: An Introduction to Birding (Free!)

  • 245 High Street Montgomery, AL, 36104 United States (map)

Eastern Bluebird by Tonya Scott-Williams

You don't have to travel far or know anything about birds to begin. They're right where you live - just beyond the edge of your attention. This introduction to birding is designed for those who are curious about birding but aren't sure where to start.

We'll begin indoors with a practical overview of how to observe and identify common birds, followed by a short, optional walk just outside to put those skills into practice. You'll learn ways to observe, listen, and begin recognizing common birds in your surroundings. No experience required! Bring your curiosity. Leave with a new way of noticing birds!
