[Coastal] Birding at Flying Creek Nature Preserve, Fairhope (Free)

  • 22430 Main Street Fairhope, AL, 36532 United States (map)

Join us for an inaugural birding adventure at the new Flying Creek Nature Preserve in Fairhope! The 108-acre parcel of land between Veterans Boulevard and Fly Creek boasts a diverse forest and riparian ecosystem. Since there haven’t been any reports of birding taking place at this site, we don’t exactly know what to expect! We hypothesize sightings of species such as vireos, nuthatch, woodpeckers, and potential for some warblers.

This location is not currently an eBird hotspot and there are no checklists submitted for this site yet!

Cost: Please note this event is free but registration is required. This program is limited to 15 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trip Leader: Coastal Outreach Manager Cortney Weatherby (cortney@alaudubon.org/402-297-1775 [day of program use only]). Please reach out to Cortney if you have any questions, concerns, or require special accessibility accommodations so that we can try to assist you.
