Red-tailed Hawk by Andrew Lydeard

Join us for our monthly Nature at Noon event with our friends at Red Mountain this February! Every month, we offer an opportunity to participate in an hour-long, Friday lunchtime walk that explores different locations of the state and its nature each month. We will travel as a group from the Venice Road Entrance along the slope of the mountain and scan the skies for hawks while searching the forest edges and scrub for songbirds that call this home for winter. As always, birders of all skills levels are welcome to join!

Meeting Time and Place: We will meet in the parking lot of the Venice Road entrance of Red Mountain Park at 12:00pm and work slowly along adjacent trails in search of bird species in the area.
