Start the morning with a bird banding session and get up close and personal with birds. We will learn how bird banding works and why it is important to monitor the health of migratory birds. After banding, we will enjoy a special presentation highlighting Cerulean Warblers in Alabama. Our guest speaker, Tommy Thompson, recipient of Alabama Audubon’s Education Grant, will share insights from his research on these elusive warblers and their habitat needs.
