Like birds? Like blueberries? Exercise your birding passion and reward yourself with your own freshly picked blueberries. The birds are free; you pay for the blueberries you pick $3.00 per pound/lb. Blueberry prices are determined by Smith Farm. Alabama Audubon‘s pop-up visit to Smiths Farm in Sterrett, Alabama will leave you satisfied from the early morning, bird chorus, and from your freshly harvested blueberries for days thereafter. Once at the farm, we will pick blueberries accompanied by a morning chorus of our local summer birds. After we have picked sufficient quantities of blueberries (roughly an hour) we will take a bird walk around the farm.

TRAVEL INFORMATION : We will meet in the Smith’s Farm parking lot at 7:00 AM. From there, we will pick berries and bird the adjoining fields on foot.
