Places to stay

The Black Belt Birding Festival takes place across eight different counties, and our events begin early in the morning. When booking lodging, we recommend you consider where you’ll be starting your journeys on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and look for lodging nearby. While our event is headquartered in Greensboro, there are limited options in the Greensboro vicinity. Many guests stay in hotels in the larger cities/towns of the western Black Belt including Tuscaloosa, Livingston, Eutaw, Demopolis, Selma, and Marion. There are also short-term rentals available across the region through Airbnb. The links to webpages below may help you find your lodging.
