Program Description : Join us to look for fall migrants along the greenway beside the Cahaba River in Trussville. We can expect to see species such as wrens, kinglets, woodpeckers, and chickadees. We will be watching along the water for Great Blue and Green herons and possible kingfishers. Scanning the skies we’ll look for hawks, vultures, and maybe even a passing Bald Eagle.
TRAVEL INFORMATION: Meet at 7 a.m. in the parking lot of the Trussville Senior Citizen Center at 504 Cherokee Dr. Trussville, AL. From there we will walk along the greenway.
Accessibility: The greenway is paved and wheelchair accessible with benches every 1/4 mile or so.
There are restrooms across the bridge from the Senior center.
