LOCATION DESCRIPTION / In-person: Aldridge Gardens opened in 2002, the 30-acre former property of well-known horticulturist Eddie Aldridge has varied habitats that surround a central lake. Birds we may see include Sapsuckers, Northern Flickers, hawks, Kinglets, Nuthatches, fall migrants, as well as many common year-round residents such as Cardinals and wrens.
If birding is slow we may drive a few miles away to Chace Lake to continue our search.

Accessibility: Most of the gardens are fairly wheelchair accessible though many of the paths are packed gravel and some pine straw covered. There are occasional benches. There are a few moderate hills.
