HABITAT WORKDAY
VOLUNTEER AT AUDUBON-DATNOW PRESERVE
Please join us on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day for our annual workday at the Audubon-Datnow Preserve. As a key part of our habitat restoration initiative, we are pleased to host this volunteer-driven at W.E. Putnam Middle School. We need your help as we work to remove invasive plants and clear access trails.
We will meet promptly at 11AM in the parking lot behind the school, just off of Briar Meadow Road.(33.527801, -86.713474)
Gloves, loppers, and rakes will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own yard tools. Coffee and snacks will be provided!
In the event of rain, this event will be canceled. We will notify you the night before via social media.
Please bring water and dress for cooler weather.
The nearest restrooms are at nearby gas stations or Wal-Mart on Montclair Road.
