Audubon Online Courses: Introduction to Alabama's Shorebirds ($)

Description: July marks the beginning of fall shorebird migration, and Alabama Audubon is here to help you prepare! Join Program Coordinator Andrew Lydeard for an online course that covers the expected sandpipers and plovers found throughout Alabama.

Andrew will discuss where and when to search for these birds throughout the state and region, and the course will include information about shorebird life histories, important field marks, and other valuable tips to improve your field skills on this challenging group of birds. The course will run for about 45 - 50 minutes with time for questions at the end.

LOCATION DETAILS: This course is offered only online. A zoom link will be sent to the email address used to register for this event the day before the program. Please be sure to check your spam/junk email folders for this link!

Registration fee: Members $20.00 / Non-members $30.00
