ONLINE Course: Audubon at Home: Selecting Optics and Field Guides

In response to social-distancing and shelter-in-place rules for Alabama during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering free online courses as a public service to help folks continue to learn about the birds they love! Master-birder Greg Harber teaches students everything they need to know to get started with their new favorite hobby, selecting optics such as binoculars and spotting scopes and also bird field guides.
Where and when do we meet? This online course meets on Tuesday, April 21st, from 5:30–6 p.m. It will be a thirty-minute online class with some time at the end for questions. Click on the registration link above to sign up, and you’ll receive the instructions on how to join the meeting via a confirmation email.
Please note, you will receive a separate email with the Zoom meeting instructions before the class (likely the afternoon before class begins). You’ll need the meeting ID and password from this email to join the meeting.
