Join bird and insect enthusiasts from all over Jefferson County (and beyond!) as we celebrate all creatures that flutter and fly!
What better way to welcome fall than a celebration? During this free event, we will have scheduled activities, hikes from local bird and moth experts, crafts for the kids, and presentations! Guests include the Alabama Wildlife Center, Birmingham Audubon, the Birmingham Zoo, the Jefferson County Master Gardeners, Alabama Birding Trails…and more!
Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve is a 1,038-acre urban nature preserve located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is one of the largest privately held urban nature preserve in the United States.
