Birmingham Audubon Teaches Nature: Mysteries of Bird Migration

Join us Sunday, March 19th, for “Mysteries of Bird Migration,” with guest speaker and longtime Birmingham Audubon member Anne G. Miller.

Every day of every month of every year, birds crisscross the skies above North America on their way to destinations known only to them. Guided only by environmental clues and innate abilities, these migrations have been honed through millions of years of evolution to deliver birds to just the right habitats at just the right times. In this program, we’ll go on a migratory journey as fascinating and as ancient as the birds themselves.

As always, Birmingham Audubon Teaches Nature programs are held at the Alabama Wildlife Center at Oak Mountain State Park, and the adjacent Oak Mountain Interpretive Center. Admission to the park is $5 per adult (age 12+), $2 per child (age 4 to 11), $2 per senior (age 62+), and free for ages 3 & under. There is no charge for the program.
