Fall Audubon Talk: John Northrop, Citizens’ Climate Lobby Birmingham

Join us for our second seasonal Audubon Talk hosted by Ruffner Mountain with special guest John Northrop, group leader of CCL-Birmingham, the local chapter of Citizen’s Climate Lobby—an international, volunteer, non-partisan organization building political will for climate action. John is a retired educator and former journalist, once the environmental beat reporter for the Birmingham Post-Herald. He also has previously served as nuclear energy safety advocate for Birmingham Audubon, which is now Alabama Audubon.

The details: Reception will be from 6–6:30 p.m. with the talk running from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Ruffner Mountain Nature Center (1214 81st St. S., Birmingham). Seating is limited, and registration will be required for this event. For more information, please email us.
