Coastal: ACBS Bird ID Walk
August 16, 2019

Registration link coming soon!
In preparation for the Audubon Coastal Bird Surveys (ACBS), our coastal office is offering volunteers training on Friday, August 16th, and Saturday, August 17th. Skip the classroom and join us on the beach learning Alabama’s coastal birds with expert birder Emma Rhodes. These ID walks are not only good for training to become part of the ACBS surveys, but also for any other volunteer opportunities. The more you know about Alabama’s birds, the easier it is for you to take that message into breeding season as a steward or participate at an outreach event and educate folks about our feathered friends.
