Tom Imhof Memorial Beginner Bird Walk: Railroad Park
October 8, 2018, 8:00 am–10:00 am

Birmingham Audubon’s Tom Imhof Memorial Beginner Bird Walk series continues with a trip to Railroad Park. If you’re new to birding, returning after an absence, or just interested in checking out the fall migrants, we invite you to join us for an easy morning walk at this hip, urban greenspace.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
(Questions about accessibility? Email us for more information about how we can meet your needs.)
The details: Meetup is at 8 a.m., under the pavilion in the middle of the park (1700 1st Ave. S.).
Insect repellent, rain gear, sunblock, and seasonally appropriate attire may all come in handy, depending on the weather. If you have your own binoculars, you’ll definitely want to bring them along, although we will have a limited number of loaners on hand.
The birds: View the most recent eBird list for Railroad Park here.
Trip leader: Greg Harber and Phyllis Clay co-lead this trip along with Birmingham Audubon Outreach & Communications Director Sarah Randolph. Register above to RSVP—be sure to mention if you anticipate needing to borrow a pair binoculars! If you have questions about the event, please email or call Sarah Randolph at 205-719-3678, option 3.
