Join us for an easy lunchtime nature walk at one of Birmingham’s most celebrated neighborhood parks. Together, we’ll explore some of the winter birds that frequent Crestwood Park’s pine trees and central bioswale, then head up into the historic Crestwood North neighborhood for a block-by-block look at Birmingham’s urban bird and plant life.
The details: Meetup is at noon in the park’s main parking lot (5400 Crestwood Boulevard), easily accessible off U.S. Highway 78.
Rain gear, sunblock, and seasonally appropriate attire may all come in handy, depending on the weather. If you have your own binoculars, you’ll definitely want to bring them along—we’ll have only a limited number of loaners on hand.
(Questions about accessibility? Email us for more information about how we can meet your needs.)
Trip leader: The Birmingham Audubon Outreach Director leads this trip. Email him for more information, or call 205-719-3678, ext. 2.
