Birmingham Audubon’s Tom Imhof Memorial Beginner Bird Walk series continues with a trip to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. If you’re new to birding, returning after an absence, or just interested in checking out the fall migrants, we invite you to join us for an easy morning walk at this Birmingham institution.

Bonus event: Stick around until noon and join us for our ninth Gosse Nature Walk, also at the Gardens!

The details: Meetup is at 8 a.m., in the Gardens’ Blount Plaza. For a detailed map, click here.

Insect repellent, rain gear, sunblock, and seasonally appropriate attire may all come in handy, depending on the weather. If you have your own binoculars, you’ll definitely want to bring them along, although we will have a limited number of loaners on hand.

(Questions about accessibility? Email us for more information about how we can meet your needs.)

The birds: View the most recent eBird list for the Gardens here.

Trip leader: Birmingham Audubon Outreach Director Ansel Payne leads this trip. Email him here to RSVP—be sure to mention if you anticipate needing to borrow a pair binoculars!
